Servo Motor D13 Of Ez Robot Out Of Order

Question

bonjour j'ai un problème avec le servomoteur gauche du genou. Celui chauffe anormalement et il tremble rendant impossible toute stabilité. que dois je faire ? celui qui branché en D13 pour être certain que le problème vient du servomoteur je l'ai validé et branché en D15 et le problème est le même

I have a problem with the left knee actuator. This heats abnormally and making it impossible to shake stability. what should I do? the one that plugged in D13 to be sure the problem is the booster I validated and connected in D15 and the problem is the same i observe the same thing

@piierre A couple of things to check. Make sure the screw that secures the bracket to the servo is not done up too tight after calibration as this could be causing strain on the servo motor if it is. Also, check to make sure the servo cable is not pulling to tight when the servo moves to different positions, as this could also cause extra strain on the servo and cause it to overheat. I also see from your profile that you have not completed any of the tutorials for Revolution JD. I highly recommend you complete these before you go any further as these will help you a great deal. Assurez-vous que la vis qui fixe le support au servomoteur ne se fait pas trop serre apres calibration car cela pourrait etre la cause de la pression sur le servomoteur si elle est. Aussi, assurez- vous que le cable de servo-moteur ne tire pas trop serre lorsque le servo se deplace a differentes positions, comme cela peut egalement provoquer une pression supplementaire sur l' asservissement et de provoquer une surchauffe . Je vois aussi de votre profil que avez pas effectue aucune des tutoriels pour JD Revolution. Je vous recommande fortement de completer ces avant d'aller plus loin que ceux-ci vous aidera beaucoup. bonjour, j'ai fait toutes les manipulations en respectant la procedure. j'ai meme essayer le servomoteur D13 seul sans le monter sur la jambe et le constat est le meme. corialment

So the wire is not tight when the servo moves, the screw that secures the bracket is not too tight after you calibrated the servo, and the servo still gets very hot with no load on it (not attached to anything). It's possible that the servo itself might be faulty and have a short circuit inside of it causing it to heat up. I would suggest that you use the "Contact Us" option and click on "Warrenty Claim". Donc, le cable est pas juste lorsque le servo se deplace la vis qui fixe le support est pas trop serre Apres l'etalonnage du servo et servo obtient toujours tres chaud sans charge sur elle ( pas attache a quoi que ce soit ). Il est possible que le servo lui-meme pourrait etre defectueuse et avoir un court-circuit a l'interieur de celui-ci provoque son echauffement. Je vous suggere d'utiliser le "Contactez-nous" et cliquez sur " demande de garantie . " Expliquez a nouveau quel est le probleme et copiez l'URL a ce fil et de le coller dans pretendant Warrent. a moins que quelqu'un d'autre a des idees a ce qui pourrait etre la cause? Hi if you are having problems with this you should make sure it is hooked up correctly. If it is, then you might have passed the servo limits and burned out the motor. This can be fixed by finding a 3-D printer in your area, or buying the part here on this website.

Finding a 3D printer won't fix a burnt out servo motor. Also you can't pass a servo limit as they are set from 1 to 180 with a limiter on the drive gear, although limits can be passed in the sense that how a servo is positioned with brackets ect and cannot move their full positions. Unless of course you meant voltage limits, which wouldn't be the case here as a JD uses a 7.4v battery which the servos can handle.

Excuse me if I'm butting in where I shouldn't, but I was wondering if the servo in question is making a buzzing sound all the time when it's heating up? Also @Steve G. What is the "servo cable" to which you were referring?

@WBS. You're not butting in at all. I was referring to the 3 wire cable that plugs in to the EZ-B. For example, when there are 2 or more servos connected together, such as a leg or arm ect, ensuring that there is enough "play" on the servo cables will stop any unnecessary strain on the servos and prevents damage to the cable itself when the servos move to different positions.
