Robot None Operational After Been Fully Charged

Hi

I went through all the tutorials, calibrating the robot and was fully functional then the battery died. I put the robot on charge as per the tutorial guide and waited for the green light to clear. When i came to turning the Robot back on? Nothing?

Could anyone advise?

Thanks Kris

Do you have a multi-meter? check the voltage of the battery to make sure it actually charged (outer pins on the battery plug).

Did you go until the battery actually dies, or until your EZ-B started saying the battery was low? You should never ever leave it on until the batteries actually die with LiPo batteries or they will never charge again.

Assuming the batteries read 8.x volts, check the fuse (differs by which Robot you have. See this tutorial: https://synthiam.com/Tutorials/Lesson/47 )

You haven't marked any of the tutorials as completed. I strongly suggest you take the getting started tutorials for your robot, and all of the "Improve your robot skills and knowledge!" tutorials except maybe the developer kit lessons that may not apply if you have a Revolution robot.

Also if it is not the battery... check your the plugs, wiring to the robot etc... and while you're at it check the fuse...

Can you expand on the word "nothing", please:)

For example, does nothing mean your robot was stolen and is no longer at your home? lol...

  1. does the ez-b turn on?

  2. Do the lights on the ez-b flash?

  3. Does the bootup sound, sound?

  4. Is there a short in the wires that are connected to the ez-b?

  5. Is anything connected to the ez-b? (i.e. servos, etc)

  6. Do the lights on the charger work?

We will need some information to help you.
