Need More Screen Space In ARC

Does anyone know a way around getting more space to fit script controls in the ARC window. I'm running command control to run scripts from voice for Head turn, neck turn, arms movement, wrist movement , claw actions and personality generator. Thats a lot of windows. I've tried closing them but if I do that I loose that control.I've tried to minimize them but they seem to have one set size. Is there a way to chain them together outside the screen ?

Does anyone know the best way around this clutter problem ?..thanks

You can make your virtual screen resolution larger under Utilities in ARC

Hazbot,

Also, what I do is go to the top where it says windows and click on more windows. It will give you a list of windows. Select the one you want to see. It will make it come to the top. Sometimes you have to page down or to the right in order to see it. but, it will be on the top.

have fun!!

Up date, the more windows didn't work Moviemaker - the window just stays where it is but I worked out what DJ was on about...

FOR ALL EB USERS..TAKE NOTE..FOLLOW THE STEPS
  1. OPEN YOUR ARC PROJECT

  2. CLICK ON UTILITIES

  3. OPEN SET DESKTOP SIZE

4.HIT THE CONFIG BUTTON

  1. ADD A NUMBER IN FRONT OF YOUR RESOLUTION NUMBER i.e width 1366 change to width 21366

  2. HIT SAVE - BINGO : YOU NOW HAVE A MASSIVELY WIDE BUILD SCREEN TO SCROLL AND ADD MORE

Good feature but on mine you only get one go whilst in the current project....good luck everyone

Did not work for me. It may have something to do with your graphics settings. Mine are low because I am blind in one eye and can't see out of the other very well.

I'm not sure what you can do if your res is low..sorry to hear about your eyesight, but if that window option works for you - use that. A nice feature missing is an auto scroll, just like word for window or Notepad where as you use up space going down, the page automatically expands (to a noticeable level). This is another one of those niggly annoying things (like not being able to adjust the size of the control boxes) they need to fix - they are small but annoying. What they could do that would be really cool is have the control boxes as Icons that expand when you right click them.

Def like the idea of the control boxes being icons - I'm starting to fill-up my screen too! I'll have to have a play with DJ's suggestion.

Have a look at how this guy gets around it. It's a form I've been suggesting to DJ in our great debate in general discussion (Urbi). It's a little kiddish looking but an elegant and masterful open source way of solving many of the frustrations we have with this current windows - script in frames setup. In Minibloq you can even look at each icon block square to examine the code. His squares or icons could be a lot smaller but I love it and hope DJ will embrace it and do something about this current gui mess. I'm being a bit harsh but I'm not on my own frustrated with script and command frames that can't be changed and having unrelated command frames all over the place. Currently I'm scrolling my workspace over a meter across to fit things in by changing the resolution. Anyway, check this guy out...he is a brain.

Hello hazbot, minibloq is a great single process designer for arduino. It may be a great option for you to use for your projects.

Yes, I'm already on that track...Cheers:) :) ;) I still think you need to address the problem of space in EB.
