Bipeds? Hexapods? Okay!! *coming Soon*

Well, this next release of EZ-Builder is coming up very soon. What will it include? I'm usually told to keep my secrets to myself - but it's so hard! So hard when i'm sooo excited to share with everyone.

Well, you've heard or seen a bit about my augmented reality - yes - that's completed and will be in the next release.

But the big one is Biped and Hexapod support. Two new controls - one specifically for a platform i'll be supporting, and another control which will be dynamic for ALL bipeds and hexapods.

Plus, the same control can be used to script position routines for your existing robot. Oh, i'm really excited! Here's a sneak peek...

I'm drooling all over! Placed my first EZ-B kit couple days ago and still waiting for it and now this!!! I have been wondering if I can build a biped and hexapod with EZ-B, now it's a reality:) Thanks DJ.

C-3PO anyone? Boy do I wish DJ was doing his thing back in the 70s. I, for one, would have probably gone into engineering instead of computer science had I been able to "play" with this stuff back then.

Awesome job DJ!

DJ awesome. How much will the platform cost? Could it also support a Quadpod (Dog gait) My projects are based upon designing service robots to help the handicapped. Currently US law only recongizes a service animal (quadpod gait) as a hanicapped assist service dog. So Quadpod support would be awesome DJ

Thanks Neil

Hello !

Totally agree with antguru! My project also relates to a robot dog then the support of the quadruped gait would be great eek

antguru;

Your Robot work sounds very interesting. Would you showcase some of your Service Robot ideas/work?

This is all great news. I got my EZ-B yesterday and had a blast testing everything on it. I will be building your biped as soon as I can get my hands on one. I plan on building one of the robots from a story I am writing. I have made many 3d models of these robots. Most of the robots are bipeds. Your biped will help me complete my project. EZ-Robot just keeps getting better.
