Project Omega Status

Linux robot 92

USA

It's only been three monts since I started the omega project and it fells like it was only yesterday when I first started lol I took the tracks of a Rad. Bot 1.0 and the all but the tracks of a roboter emiglio and some plexiglass and started hacking and modding away and now he is about 75'/. Percent done and it won't be much longer till omega is finished. Here is a recent photo, all he needs now his neck and head put togther and installed (head taped on for show in photo gallery), the Extra wiring, backpack installed, tracks motorized, Rgb 8x8 array for his eyes and of course the ezb v4 kit installed. I have two of the six servos installed and the distance sensor installed it just needs hooked up and he shall be alive!

Thanks you guys yea I got my inspiration from your rover rb550f and put my spin on it lol I loved the rover so much that I had to make omega from an emiglio and in was gonna use an omnibot 2000 bottom end torso for the torso extension but i couldn't find on so I just cut up the emiglio head instead and it turned out nicely I think. Hopefully I should have him up and running with in the next month and a half. Then I shall shoot a video for the community. He is going to make a great friend and family hierloom for generations to come:D

This is the final concept design I have chosen for omega when he is 100'/, complete, with the edition of green led backlite eyes, led light stripping and an onboard detachable winbook tw802 offical windows 8.1 computer tablet. I hope you all like it. If you have any suggestions on color variations or concept design additions fill free to comment them in:D

Thanks Steve G. I'm going to try and teach him every thing I can possible teach him. I am going to install Ez-ai and Ez- data base starting out with a 1 terabyte external hard drive inside for ARC software, Ez-ai and Ez-D.b memory storage and I will soon be working on a easy to build self sub staining solar power unit for omega so ill never have to replace or recharge any batteries and i won't even need the sun to power it. I have done a lot of research for free energy motors and I just have to remove all resistance or at least enough in the circuit that I won't really be a problem, and it shouldn't take much more research to complete the unit.
