Hey,
here´s my first robot-project.
I proudly present "MARVIN" tadaa
As you can see, I´m still working on it ...
the camera is modified to be powered by USB and at least the head is moving
The hand is built out of a OWI-robot-arm and connected with a servo. Next step will be the arms. Until now I´m not sure which feet it will get.
Greetings from the bavarian-wood.
PS: sorry for my bad english tired

Elastic band turret. Its cool... so I made it. Aiming is hard... Sorry for garbage quality I filmed it on a Galaxy S II...
Awsome on your first bot, looks great can't wait to see to finished product.
Looking good, can't wait to see where this one goes
Nice job!
Yay the three most popular project names are Jarvis, Marvin and Bob
. Cool I can't wait to see what you do.
Awesome! I love the look.
NICE DESIGN looks very good.
At last
I found the time to continue the work on my little friend
I found some images in the web what the robot looked like before I started working.

Luckily I changed the colors to black and white and removed the labelsThe LED lights are working (as you can see on the pics below) and his head is finished.
Servos for the arms are glued and ready for use. The parts of his arms are under construction in my crazy laboratory
. I want to mount a grappler on the left arm. For the other side I dont have an idea yet confused . Perhaps anyone has a good idea?
And finally that´s why they call him MARVIN
Great "transformation" and the lights and camera give Marvin a very cool look! For a balanced look its good to keep both arms the same...but for "research/education" of robot arms think of something else like a "gripper" Like the Claw.. http://www.instructables.com/id/The-Claw-1/ using only one servo!
