can't connect to rover

Question

Hello, I have a problem, I can't connect to the wifi network of the Rover, Windows says that it was not possible to connect to the network. I use the tp-link TL-WN822N wifi usb adapter. One person told me that my adapter is too new for this robot, could this be true? Please tell me how to solve the problem. (I'm not a geek or a master of such things myself, but I'd like to figure it out)

Can you connect to the rover from your phone using the original app? Just make sure there is no technical issues with robot. When you connected your PC direct to the brook-stone robots Wifi did it connect ok ? Did it issue an IP address to your PC (from the command line in windows try typing ipconfig /all and see if it issued and IP and if you are connected to it).Can you ping the robots IP ? Sorry I don't own a brookstone I think DJ has one. Looks nice from the video.

I am using 2013 version firmware v16 and there is support for this robot(brookstone rover 1.0). But to control it with ARC I should connect to his wifi, but i cant.

and if i try to connect to it the console displays this:

OK, Bummer:  So not an EZ-Robot issue.  All I can suggest is you read the manual for your TP Link adapter and see if you can force it to use 802.11g or b or get another wifi adapter.  Good luck.

LOL Bummer is not Boomer (sorry I really was not trying to call you a boomer). Bummer is a slang term in English essentially meaning "A disappointing or unpleasant situation". I wish I was a Zoomer although in Canada (where I am located) a Zoomer is a term that was coined by a guy called Moses Znaimer from Zoomer Media who called people who were over 45 in 2008 Zoomers (A play on Boomers). Moses is kind of famous in Canada as he started a lot of TV shows up here.
