Still No Camera Tracking, Lots Of Memory?

I still can not start camera tracking, black screen processed video. I took my laptop to my local computer shop to check it out. It shows I still have 2.05 GB of memory, after starting with 4 GB, and only up to 60 percent CPU usage running ARC? My hard drive showed no errors. It did show an error report Version=1 EventType=AppHangB1 EventTime=130095055779554586 ReportType=1 Consent=1 UploadTime=130095055810354586 Response.BucketId=3548695646 Response.BucketTable=5 Response.type=4 Sig[0].Name=Application Name Sig[0].Value=EZ-Builder.exe Sig[1].Name=Application Version Sig[1].Value=2013.3.18.0 Sig[2].Name=Application Timestamp Sig[2].Value=514835a2 Sig[3].Name=Hang Signature Sig[3].Value=1386 Sig[4].Name=Hang Type Sig[4].Value=6144 DynamicSig[1].Name=OS Version DynamicSig[1].Value=6.0.6002.2.2.0.768.3 DynamicSig[2].Name=Locale ID DynamicSig[2].Value=1033 DynamicSig[22].Name=Additional Hang Signature 1 DynamicSig[22].Value=6321e23db306c9ab2a116e45523bfe58 DynamicSig[23].Name=Additional Hang Signature 2 DynamicSig[23].Value=efd6 DynamicSig[24].Name=Additional Hang Signature 3 DynamicSig[24].Value=8e9cdfc2a0ef0010d5545c7c84ea13b5 DynamicSig[25].Name=Additional Hang Signature 4 DynamicSig[25].Value=1386 DynamicSig[26].Name=Additional Hang Signature 5 DynamicSig[26].Value=6321e23db306c9ab2a116e45523bfe58 DynamicSig[27].Name=Additional Hang Signature 6 DynamicSig[27].Value=efd6 DynamicSig[28].Name=Additional Hang Signature 7 DynamicSig[28].Value=8e9cdfc2a0ef0010d5545c7c84ea13b5 UI[3]=EZ-Builder is not responding UI[4]=If you close the program, you might lose information. I get additional errors for camera stating insufficient memory.

He said the application was the only problem showing on my computer. He said all errors are not Vista problems. Everything else ok. Hard drive showed no errors. I disabled almost all of my startup programs, save Norton. I disabled Norton for 15 min. to try, but did not help. He mentioned many applications that have have problems are designed for 32 bit systems, not 64 bit. What is ARC designed 4? I have a 64 bit HP system with duo processors, 2.20 gb , 4 gb memory. He said upgrading to windows 7 or adding memory would not result in a solution? EZ Robot is a great product that I enjoy. Can you help?

Changing to Windows 7 has solved the camera issue if memory serves me correctly. I can't find the topic but I'm sure someone has reported that upgrading to Windows 7 Starter solved the problem.

It seems the problem lies with Vista, I have no doubt about it, every report of this error has been on a PC running Vista.

Upgrade to Windows 7 Starter and see the problems solved.

Thank you Rich, I went there to upgrade to Windows 7 or buy more more memory, but my local computer man was hesitate to sell it to me. He said if I just did the upgrade without a clean installation, I may still have the same issues. He also said many applications are designed around a 32 bit systems, that may have issues on 64 systems like I have. My wife is reluctant to change all things, and start over on our laptop. I have looked @ how Vista uses cached memory and not all of available memory. I may have to utilize my current computer for now. There are still many other EZ Robot options I can explore. I have been playing with "personality generators" and that is now my favorite feature. My robot is a great companion. Thank You Steve S

Vista has caused us too many issues. It was a cancelled operating system by Microsoft and is not supported by practically any software anymore. I think the only solution we have is to cancel support for vista, as it's nearly 10 years old. :)

Install the x86 version of windows 7 starter , you will find new life in your old machine and much better virtual memory management. - Josh S

Also get rid of Norton , when you do your install for win 7 go ahead and uninstall the Norton starter package. Norton has been related to more problems than its worth.

Hello Doug! Windows XP is not a supported operating system. Please check the ARC downloads page for a list of supported operating systems. Windows XP is 12 years old and has not been a supported operating system by Microsoft since 2007 even. :)

Please upgrade to Windows 7 at the minimum - which is already 6 years old.

@Doug I would reload your OS or upgrade to win 7 , I'm afraid something in your registry for windows is corrupt.

#9

Lol I think we just recommended that at the same time

Thank You All ! WINDOWS-7, HERE I COME !
