is there a command i can put in script to refresh the joystick ez panel as opposed to clicking the refresh button in the ez joystick window?

needed that today!
I don't use the joystick control very often so forgive me for asking... why is this needed? When I do use my Logitech joystick I have never needed to refresh the joystick control. I have to be missing something, so what is it?
Sometimes ARC can't see the Joystick when you open a project. Not sure why, but the refresh fixes it. Going to add this to my init script.
