Hello Everyone!
My name is Joseph
I have just received the EZ-Robot kit, and I can't wait to get at it.
I have also ordered the Rover 5 which I should receive next Monday.
Unfortunately I'm at work, and it will have to wait until I get home.
Maybe I'll get sick and have to leave early. Ha! Ha!
I have been looking at a lot of the projects you all have been working on, and I am truly amazed at what you all have been able to accomplish.
I'm not sure what I'm going to build just yet, but whatever it is I know I'm going to have a lot of fun!
Here's some ideas:
Wall-e(maybe not for your first robot. I found that out the hard way)
Rc Car(take a rc car you have lying around and add a motor controller, the ez-b, and a servo to steer the car[may take modding])
Ar drone(doesn't require the ez-kit, but can get you familiar with ARC
Do you have any experience with programming or C++ or other coding?
I do have several RC cars that I could probably use to put something together.
I don't have any programming experience, and that is one of the reasons that I chose ARC.
Speaking of that I have the Brookstone Rover, and I have been able to control it in ARC, and through the arrow keys on my laptop. Now here's the problem I'm having. By the way I'm running Windows 7. In ARC I can see my voice modulation in the speech recognition window, but the rover does not respond when I give a command ie.."robot move forward". Am I missing something?
I had to restore my laptop to default setting yesterday for another issue w the camera which has done nothing but now the speech command isn t working when it did before.
Thanks
Yeah the can is a big problem so far nothing has resolved it .rich just sent me a zip file to try I hope it ll work.
