I Created A Remote Interface O

I created a remote interface on my PC and saved it to EZ-Cloud AppStore, and I can recall it successfully and control my Battle Bot with it on the PC.  I then downloaded and installed the ARC app on my Android phone. But the app won't recognize my EZ-Robot password when I click on My Apps and then try to sign in.  I filled out the Preferences and also changed my password, but that didn't help. I have repeatedly looked at the Robot Program's Remote Control video tutorial but have had trouble following it. Can someone help me with this problem?

Use the credentials that you use for this (Synthiam.com) website, not ez-robot's website. The app hasn't been updated with that information yet - we're working on it:D

Thank you for the prompt reply.

When I changed my password I was on this site and was filling out the Preferences form with that new password. But when I tried to save or sign in with the new password it was still rejected (although it does recognize my email address).

DJ, excuse my foggy memory, I responded incorrectly. I was in the Mobile ARC on my Android phone trying to sign in using a new password that I had entered in Preferences. It would not work.

However, I just changed my password in Synthiam by clicking on my avatar. When I used that password in Mobile ARC on my phone it WAS accepted!

Now my problem is what to do next. I have my control interface on my PC controlling my robot. And the interface has been installed on my phone. I clicked on Connect and connection to my WiFi network is shown. If i go back and click on Remote Control the right looking interface comes up but doesn't control my robot. If I go back to your tutorial I might be able to figure out what to do, but since I am already corresponding with you maybe you can easily point me in the right direction.

You mentoined connting to the WiFi network, but you didn't mention if you pressed CONNECT to the EZ-B? Did the EZ-B make a connection chime noise? If not, you will have to press the CONNECT button on the connection screen

Yes, I did forget to mention I did that.

I created a mobile interface control for my Battle Flipper using ARC on my PC, and I can control Flipper using my mouse and the PC monitor display. On my phone I downloaded and installed the ARC-Mobile app from the Google app store. When I try to save my controller to the EZ-Cloud AppStore I get this message:

"Invalid user credentials. Please use the Account Settings to correct your credentials."

I'm using the same password in Synthiam that I am using in the app in my phone, and I can freely log in and out of Synthiam and the app.

Please advise what I should do.

I had no idea that step was needed! I wasn't even familiar with that item in ARC. In retrospect I suppose I should have been, but thanks a lot anyway.

However, again (sigh) I can't figure out the next step.

EZB4 is connected to my WiFi network and I can control the robot (Battle Flipper) on the PC monitor with my mouse. The on-screen controller is saved and installed in the ARC Mobile app. I press Start and am presented six choices. I assume I'm supposed to press CONNECT. When I do, I get the Connection Screen which shows connection to my WiFi network (192.168.1.1). On this screen I assume I press Connect again to connect with the EZB4 in my robot. When I do I get a Connection Error message: "Unable to connect to EZ-B ...........". So what do I do now? (I have waited as stated but still no connection.) (Also, should I disconnect on my PC screen or remain connected? I have tried both with the same result)

If there are several steps to finally get the the mobile controller working on my phone, please list ALL of them so that I can quit bothering you.

After a LOT of work I finally have succeeded in getting a working remote control. I used DJ's public controller for Battle Flipper as my example. Below are the steps I found necessary. I note where I found differences from the video (The Robot Program #025).

For first time:

Fill out the Synthiam profile at  https://synthiam.com/Account/Profile, including password.   Note: DJ said that it is necessary to use a different password than the one used on EZ-Robot.com.

On my Android phone, I downloaded and installed the ARC Mobile app from the Google Play Store.

Tap "OPEN".

Agree to Terms.

Tap "Preferences" and type in your email address and password.

Tap "Save".

Tap OK.

For first and subsequent use:

Tap "Public EZ-Cloud Apps" and wait for "Search".

Tap "Search".

I scrolled through apps to find "Battle Flipper" and tapped on it.

Tap on "Details".

Tap Download and Install.

Turn robot on.

Tap "Connect".

Tap SSID name for your WiFi network.

Initially I got the 6-item display shown in the video ("Back", "Connect", etc) and tapped on "Connect". But subsequently I got "WiFi On" and a listing of open connections. I tapped on the EZ-B open connection. Then tapped on "Connect".

Go back one page and wait for the connection. Then again tap on "Connection" to complete the connection. The robot should beep to show that connection is successful.

Go back one page to find the 6-item display, and tap on Remote Control. You should now have control of the robot.

(If you did not get the beep, or encounter other connection issues, go back until you see the "Start" page and try again.

Also, you can go to the "Configuration" page where you can reboot.)
