does anyone know if you can use a 3-wire distance sensor, and if so how would you do it? Thanks 4/4/12

Three wire? You mean 5v power , ground and signal , red blk why
i guess you meen SHARP IR sensor with analog out,witch is easy just use the analog port if its a PING ultrasonic then output (signal) pin to echo pin same as HC-SRO4 and set both pins trig and echo to same pin # in config
