Hello,
I'm wondering if anyone can help me work out why I can't see my EZB with any bluetooth devices. The EZB does power on and both the blue LED on the board and red LED on the EZB bluetooth module are flashing.
Having to many computers around I've tried using Windows XP, 7 and 8 using both built in bluetooth and two USB dongles. I've also tried with a couple of android devices.
Unfortunately none of them see the EZB (no devices at all are found) despite playing around with the settings.
I'm a bit lost now. Any suggestions would be gratefully received!
Thanks
Mark
Hi there have you been through the hardware diagnostics on the site? Here
Give the board a good once over to check all pins are soldered
Ah I missed that. Thanks for pointing that out - I'll give it a go and see if anything looks odd.
Try using a different power source for EZ-B, had same issue until I applied different power source.
If both lights are flashing, it "should" show up. On the slight chance that the Bluetooth module has been damaged by static during shipping, Contact Us and we will have to get you a replacement.
Thanks guys, I did try with a 7.5v SLA battery and also a variable voltage wall supply. No joy with either of those.
I'll give the diagnostics ago and then take it from there.
Thanks for the advice!
