Hello! I've been working on an EZ-BoxBot, and I've finally come to the portion of my project where I can program my robot! Unfortunately, when I go in to ARC and try to connect my robot to the program, it says it cannot connect. I'm also wondering if I'm even doing the right thing at all when it comes to ARC, because I've been following along with the tutorials, and it looks different in the tutorial from my computer. What I did to get to where I am now is I clicked 'open,' 'robots,' 'ez boxbot,' then 'step 1' and then I click connect on the far left of the screen. Is that correct? If not, what should I be doing, and if I was correct, then what might be the problem with connecting? Thanks in advance! @bubble.ducky
You need to;
Pair the EZ-B with your PC. Check out the first part of this post.
If required update the firmware. Check out the second part of this post.
Set the correct COM port in ARC's connect control.

Yours may not be COM3Click connect.
It should connect.
If it doesn't, before clicking connect again click on add and add in the Debug control, it will tell you why it can't connect. If you are sure you are using the correct COM port try rebooting the PC, sometimes Windows decides it needs to make you reboot by doing silly things
.
Great as always @Rich
@bubble, also remember that it sounds like you have started the tutorial a few steps in
.. Perhaps skipped a few steps? Do not fear... Press the Tutorials button from the top menu of this webpage and start at the beginning. Learn your EZ-B! Have fun
