Please create questions rather than hijacking existing unrelated threads  this board is uninteresting to me. It does less of what the arc default camera device does. Seems unnecessarily redundant, no?

Sorry for hijack but i could not create a new thread (duno why). I think it is a nice board and it has its own processor for $8.90 it does more than the esp32.   In hardware, MAIX have powerful KPU K210 inside, it offers many excited features: 1st competitive RISC-V chip, also 1st competitive AI chip, newly release in Sep. 2018 28nm process, dual-core RISC-V 64bit IMAFDC, on-chip huge 8MB high-speed SRAM (not for XMR), 400MHz frequency (able to 800MHz) KPU (Neural Network Processor) inside, 64 KPU which is 576bit width, support convolution kernels, any form of activation function. The trouble with devices like this is there’s no growth path. Meaning, you get some code that can be edited, and a bunch of examples.  The example code took months to write with a bunch of people. And then you’re expected to "build of it". There’s been dozens (if not hundreds) of devices like this.  They don’t go anywhere because it’s too difficult to use. No one wants to sit down and write a few thousand lines of code. And to what end?  you can always turn it into an arc ezb camera. But the cpu is overkill for that... and underkill for anything else
