Distance From Ez-B Board To Servos?

How far can my servos be from the EZ-B board? I'll have a couple within 1 foot and a couple that will be about 4 feet. Any problems with this? Will I need to boost the signal or make a long jumper with bigger wire for the ones that are farther away? I plan to have the servos powered from a different power supply then the board.
