I am currently experiencing issues accessing features within Blockly. Previously, it was functioning correctly. Is there an ongoing environmental issue that might be affecting its performance?

im wondering about a windows 11 update - since Microsoft has had a reputation for breaking lots of stuff lately.
is it happening only on windows 11 or any other computers?

All my computers have windows 11It appears there was a Windows 11 update on January 27th that broke a lot of UI software from Microsoft Windows (https://blogs.windows.com/windows-insider/2026/01/27/releasing-windows-11-builds-26100-7701-and-26200-7701-to-the-release-preview-channel/). The update says it includes enhancements, but it has broken applications that are widely reported online. We'll be looking into a resolution on our end and hopefully have an update this week.
Good news: with the latest Microsoft Windows 11 update, we can reproduce the issue. We'll work on a workaround until Microsoft fixes it in another update. We know Microsoft has been scrambling to fix a ton of Windows 11 bugs. -Either way, something will be done about it for you shortly.
We do have a workaround for the time being. And given the screen resolution of your laptops, it'll be a better fit for applications. The workaround is to set Scaling to 100%.
This workaround will work for you in the meantime. But we're still going to release an update to fix this without the change...
right-click on the desktop
Choose Display Settings
Locate SCALE option and change to 100%
*Note: a reboot may be required
I can confirm there is a fix that will be released this week.
Thank you.
I’ve been following some YouTube channels about windows 11. Microsoft has been absolutely destroying their product with broken updates. It looks like there’s been actually 2 updates in the last few weeks that has been breaking programs in windows 11.
companies like Synthiam are chasing ways to make our software compatible with broken windows 11 updates. The changes and workarounds we had to do for this issue shouldn’t have been needed. Fortunately we’re equipped with the knowledge to create unconventional solutions for situations like this. Most companies are most likely not as versatile and it’s probably hurting their customer base.
But yeah, we are including this fix/hack/workaround in an ARC update soon. Hopefully today.
