Hi DJ,
the current version ARC 2021.01.05.00 (Early Access) has this welcome feature for indexing servo commands.
How about using DIOs for "normal" digital input / output applications and the ADC inputs ?
Is there a chance for indexing their commands as well so that software may distinguish different EZ-Bs ?
Cheers
Volker
I’ll add that to Blockly for ya
Thank you so much ! !
Hi DJ,
in a few days, the second EZ-B for my large insect will arrive ...
... do you have news about this above indexing stuff ?
Would be an immense help.
Thanks very much in advance !
Cheers
Volker
See this release note from a few weeks ago: https://synthiam.com/Products/ARC/Releases/ARC-2021-01-21-00-Early-Access-20216
Right,
servo controls are indexed, but only servo controls; not the common DIO ports (what I addressed on Jan 20).
Could you please enable this as well ???
Would be great !
Again, please see that release note. That release note has the changes you requested. Update to that release to obtain the changes. For reference, here is the link again: https://synthiam.com/Products/ARC/Releases/ARC-2021-01-21-00-Early-Access-20216
Confusing ...
... I used the link that you provided a few minutes ago - should be for ARC 2021.01.21.00 (Early Access), but the downloaded installation file includes the older version 2020-11-02-00 (see below):
Prior to installing your suggested new version I had removed the old one from my HDD; just to be sure.
Really strange ...
... is it possible that the link you provided is not addressing the new version 2021.01.21.00 (Early Access), but he old version ?
Sorry to bother you .
Forget it - found it below - my fault !!
Haha no problem
Hi DJ,
my very final question to this topic:
In order to use the Early Access version I have to subsribe to a monthly / annual plan, which is OK for me.
However, what is the Email address in case I need to pause this subscription for a while ?
Reason: I am not only active in robotics but I am also operating a scratch built 4 m radio telescope for neutron star monitoring, keeping me busy from time to time:
Thanks very much in advance !
Cheers
Volker
Once you subscribe, you can control the subscription to pause or resume etc..
you’ll get that info in the email. You don’t send us an email. We don’t manually do anything. No big levers or switches behind the scenes hehe
youll receive an email with instructions on accessing the payment portal after you subscribed.
I believe you require a subscription for more than one ezb controller anyway. So you would have had to get a license.
