Is there an option to automatically save a project on exit? If not can a script save a project?

When exiting, ARC prompts to save. Download ARC to see by clicking on the software tab from the top menu. It's a free download. For more information using ARC, there's a learn section with tutorials and activities. Have fun!
I am running version 2017.04.16 and don't get any prompts. Is it an option that I may have turned off? I thought I was getting prompts at one time.
Under the Options tab, under Preferences, there is a check box to disable the exit confirmation dialog.

That was it, thanks. I looked at the preferences several times but didn't associate the exit confirmation with the save prompt.
