Came across this little unit and was wondering if it can be easily incorporated to give my robot RFID capabilities.

I was thinking it could be used to trigger various actions based on proximity to RFID tags placed around the house.
Cool idea. DJ mentioned in another thread that he is working on an rs-232 board. That should allow connection. I assume he'll put code in to receive data and use in scripts as well as send data, but I would wait on the purchase until he confirms or publishes release notes. Alternatively, if you use the SDK to control your Bot, serial communication in visual studio is really easy.
