Connecting With Kitchener-Waterloo Robotics Enthusiasts

Hello! I just joined the forum and am excited to start learning about robotics and programming with Synthiam. I'm particularly interested in connecting with anyone from the Kitchener-Waterloo area. I'd love to meet up to exchange ideas and collaborate on projects.

Are there any Synthiam ARC subscribers in the Kitchener/Waterloo Ontario area?

Hi there and welcome to synthaim! We have several southern Ontario subscribers and users of arc. However, this forum has primarily become used for support and programming help. Forums aren’t frequented as they were in the past for general chit chatter and arranging meetups. That’s the trend with social media I guess!:)

My suggestion would be to lookup local robot clubs in your area. You usually find them through libraries and post secondary schools, such as universities and colleges.

I belong to a local Maker Space, which is another option to find likeminded individuals. Although I’ve seen a significant decline over the years, my maker space is still worthwhile to attend because I’ve made friends. Some maker spaces operate out of college or university schools.

You’re lucky though, because your area should be quite busy with events and clubs like that!

There still might be a slight chance someone from your area responds. But as I have been a forum administrator here for several years, I see most users protecting their online identity and using the forum for support only.
