Thanks for the Camera update...
Great, thx, made my day!
@DJ... I have been messing with Blockly... I do like it and it's pretty straight forward to use...However, I do hope you have no plans to eliminate or phase out the basic ez robot scripting editor. I much prefer text based programming over anything else....
Thanks for the Loop
Ron
well, I downloaded new update, installed, and did not see any changes in roboscratch, deleted ARC, reran the saved installer 2017.01.16.01, but got same result. Can someone else check their result, and post? I tried restarting computer after running installer.
Eagle, what changes are you expecting? Please provide more information.
richard, Blockly isn't a programming language. It's an editor interface that generates code, in this case it generates ezscript. Blockly is for beginners and 90% of ezrobot users who are learning to program. It doesn't replace ezscript, it helps generate it. Ezscript is the heart of ARC and cannot be replaced. If you prefer text based editor, the option to select your preferred editor is available in the post above (option is in preferences)

with your DJ Example Project loaded in ARC, opening RoboScratch (f8), there is no "wait for speech" button in window on left. Only "wait for color" , face, glyph buttons.
Use the scroll bar to scroll through the list of items, as they are sorted alphabetically
Verify you have the correct version of ARC installed. The version is displayed in the window title when the application is loaded.
Visit the SOFTWARE section of this website
Locate and click the DOWNLOAD button
The MSI file will download to your browser's download location
Depending on your browser, it may ask to RUN the file directly from it once it downloads. If it does not, you must manually navigate File Explorer to the download folder and run the file by double clicking with the mouse. Ensure the DATE TIME STAMP of the file is correct and that you are installing the correct file
Follow through the installation menus to complete install of ARC
last button is wait for glyph
version shown when opening is 2017.01.16.01
running windows 10 -downloaded your new down file ran the update, it only wanted to update/repair. SO, I deleted the ARC program, and then downloaded/ran the new update file. Got result above.
I am out of ideas?
@DJ... I am getting the same as Eagle218... Current version of ARC (16.01)... went to the cloud downloaded current JD.EZB file... last button is wait for glyph. Nothing afterwards. However, I don't use RoboScratch so I could be missing a step here...
That's super strange. The project has nothing to do with the wait for speech bubble, and it displays on my pcs. I'll reupload a new build and maybe it's a corrupt file in the installer. Something like this has happened in the past once or twice we have experienced.
I'll upload a new build later this afternoon.
I re-compiled and uploaded a new build. This thread title has been renamed with the new build to reflect version. There are no changes to this build, other than a recompile.
OK, got the "wait for speech" button on the bottom of the list, thx
Confirmed....
