I would like to maybe see better servos in the head (pan and tilt) as it seems a bit floppy... I actually do like the overall design... However, I would still like to see Sopo with a little better of a finished look...

I think this robot looks terrible.I have seen far better designs from EZB community. Seems to be very wobbly both for head and body motion. It reminds me of the Androbots and how they would wobble.

Remember, it's a prototype and built on a budget. With additional funding, they will be shipping a much more refined product.

Does it inspire you to build an ezrobot product as well?:)

@rb550f ... I wouldn't pass judgement on these guys so quick.... Sure their robot needs a bit of polishing and I am sure the production model will reflect that... I have download some of there code for their bot and they really know what they are doing. Their scripting is very good.... I am not afraid to say some of it put's mine to shame.... I learn from guys like this so I for one am looking forward to seeing what they accomplish with Sopo...

Richard R, Thanks for sharing this find. I give them credit for building a robot, other then a toy robot. I agree it will updated. It utilizes EZB4, and can offer user programing What kind of code puts yours to shame? Steve S

Nice. I recognize the Sopo, Its body is a miniature version of the original "bob" Androbot series from the Norlan Research days back in the 1980's. I've always admired that design and had thought about building my own version of this.

Congtratz Dj.. I just saw this bot at CES 2015, I'm always impressed by the ezb4 but this bot didn't impress me.. reminded me of somthing from a B rated SciFi movie.. in the 80's
