Are there any other ways to power EZ-B besides the power shell? I am hoping for a cheaper smaller way for my humanoid robot.
Sure, pull off the power shell and you will have a mini deans connector... I got a bunch of mini dean connectors on ebay for that very purpose.... Or you can solder any type of plug directly to the circuit board itself... Both will do a way with the power shell...
In this post Tamiya Power connector Dave took his apart and connected in what looks like a Tamiya plug to his EZB4 board...

If you can, you can also purchase mini-dean connectors at your favorite local hobby store.
I know it was answered but look at this tutorial I made regarding changing power plugs in case you decide to go this way.
