I prefer Tony's because of many factors... These are just some of my personal reasons
EZ:2 has a gear motor drive (not servos) with encoder's for power and precise control... I think he uses a sabertooth and a Kangaroo controller combo....
EZ:2 has much stronger motors for joints in general
EZ:2 has ir sensors in at least one of his hands to sense objects
EZ:2 has a more custom expressive face
EZ:2 is bristling with sensors in general
Tony's brilliant programming of EZ:2 alone is worth "the price of admission"
EZ:2 is not made of 3d printed PLA (PLA becomes brittle with time).... It is a robust strong molded plastic/ metal frame chassis....
With Tony's EZ:2 you get the whole package...
Anthony's is a great designer, but he needs a programmer on staff to at least give his customers something more than a remote controlled robot....
EZ:2 has sensors, XLR-One has none. Therefore EZ:2 will be able to move away from XLR-One's attacks. XLR-One would not be able to move away from EZ:2's attacks.
This alone puts the EZ:2 one up before we consider the strength of each robot's shell, structure and joints.
XLR-One may be faster moving around with a quick drive train however lacks accuracy which means supervision at all times. EZ:2 could fight the fight autonomously.
I'd favour the EZ:2 too. XLR-One needs sensors and a lot more programming - unless Anthony has just neglected to tell us about what's going on under the hood of XLR-One.
My money is on EZ:2 hands down...
I think it's too close to call they're both champions

Again, just my opinion....
Based on what we know;
EZ:2 has sensors, XLR-One has none. Therefore EZ:2 will be able to move away from XLR-One's attacks. XLR-One would not be able to move away from EZ:2's attacks.

Yep, you never know if there is another revision already. It's been a few days.
Umm...I think doombot should fight.
That would not be a fair fight. Doombot would chew both them up and spit them out.

@bborastero, Great picture, what fun!
My take on this is that with my fear of creating Skynet, I have made the ALTAIR EZ:2 a pacifist, so he probably will not win the fight!
