Does Ezrobot Make A Shield Or Hat For Iotiny?

Hello

I was wondering if there is a shield for the iotiny / ezb so you can soldier/screw in connections instead of plugging  them in?

With so many customers only makes sense.

Thank you

The EZ-Robot IoTiny and v4 layout has 3 connections per I/O. This allows gnd, power and signal to each I/O pin. Where you are comparing it to lower cost controllers, such as Arduinos which have fewer pins per I/O. Usually only two gnds and one power.

By this design, having a "shield" is redundant because it is more effective to use 3 wire connectors to each pin. It is cheaper and cleaner for users to use connection cables like this...

Yes I use connector cables.

I will look into 3, 8 pin connectors cables for more solid connection.

Saw some on adafruit.

Thank you

You're welcome! Using 3 or 8-pin connector cables can indeed provide a more solid and organized connection for your projects. Adafruit is a reputable source for such components, and they offer a variety of options that should meet your needs. If you have any more questions or need further assistance with your EZ-Robot IoTiny or any other Synthiam ARC-related queries, feel free to ask. Happy building!

Check if you can get the same "single plug" but three across and eight down. Then you have one large plug.

I prefer the individual connectors because I can swap in and out what I need.
