Controller Lights

HI I am experienceing problems in my ARC when I start a script or just move a servo have way there one of the lights on the ARC shuts off and I lose connection. Then I would have to turn it off and turn it back on to finally make both lights on. It is really starting to bother me. Help would be nice, or an explanation.

P.S I know I accidently spelled a couple of words wrong I am just bad at spelling.

Sounds like a board brown out - too much current draw all at once.

I agree with Bret. Try fresh batteries first. Ive also had too much current draw when servo was stuck and couldn't move. That caused an immediate brown out for me at least.

Can you give us a brief description of your configuration? :)

  • What do you have connected to the EZ-B?
  • How many batteries are you using?
  • What else is connected to the batteries?
  • Post your project file for us to review

Yeah that sounds all about right. Now that I think about it there is alot of things on the ARC. There is 5 standard servos 2 micro servos 2 continuous rotaion servos and one ultrusonic sensor I am not sure if the 6 batteries are working.

And it won't be long until I post my project. I want to at first finish it before I post it and a video to go with it.

Hehehe okie! Excited to see:)

Look around the forum at what other people are doing for batteries. Depending on the size of your robot, you may look into LIPO's or sealed lead acid. The included barrel adapter allows you to use any battery you'd like:D
