Alternatives To The EZ-Robot Micro HDD Servo

I understand that this forum is not specifically dedicated to EZ-Robot Inc. or its products, but I'm seeking advice on alternatives to the Micro HDD servo they offer. The issue I've encountered is that the Micro HDD servo and other micro servos I've tried are not uniform in size, which could lead to compatibility issues with my project. I'm looking for servos that match the exact size and shape of the Micro HDD servo and are compatible with the same servo attachments. Despite my efforts to find alternatives, I haven't been successful. Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for the late response, but are there any available that aren't from Temu and are preferably from Amazon or eBay? Again, I'm sorry for the late response.

I have not found a good substitute for the micro HDD servo either.  The biggest issue I have is finding a micro servo that can operate up to 8.4 volts like the EZ-Robot micro HDD servo.  If you find that, then the size is an issue because the EZ-Robot ones are flat-ish on top and most micro servos have a hump on top.  Then you have the metal gear quality which is not as common in other micro servos.

I've found ones like this on Amazon (micro 11g) that seems close, except they cost more and appear to provide less torque.  Those micro servos from EZ-Robot are hard to beat.  I hope they never stop selling them, but I do wish there were more off brand equivalents.

Personally, I find any digital servo from Futaba or Hitec to be great quality. Hitec has been geared more towards robotics lately while Futaba been great for any model R/C project. Look for servos on either TowerHobbies, RobotShop, or Servocity.

I don't think I need all of the power that the micro-HDD has. I'm doing a full 3D printed JD, and I have all the parts I need except the servos for the grippers and the head. I'd say as long as it's less than US$22 per servo, preferably $10 or less.

I understand that this kind of request is usually about cost, but if for some reason it's about shipping time you could request that the micro servos ship from our USA warehouse or our Canadian office. I know that some of you may not be aware that we have a small warehouse in the US.
