As you may have seen in this post, Synthiam has been developing the next ground-breaking robot software platform, ARCx. This new platform includes several features that necessitate upgrades to our server infrastructure. Due to this significant overhaul, several services will be offline during this time.
Affected Services
- Saving ARC projects to the cloud will be disabled. (loading projects from the cloud will not be affected)
- Creating new posts or responding to comments on the community forum will be disabled. (searching the forum will not be affected)
Essentially, all writeable services will be offline during the upgrade process to ensure the database remains unaltered during the migration. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to those who use the cloud exclusively for saving and backing up projects. In the meantime, we ask that you save your projects locally during the migration.
Migration Schedule
Due to our dependency on a few external services, such as our internet provider, the migration is planned for 4 days of July 28 and August 5, 2024. During this period, the synthiam.com website will remain online, but some services will transition to READ ONLY mode.
