Been Out Of The Loop For Years, Have Questions

Ive been out of the EZ Robot loop for several years.  Recently, someone followed up on a forum post I made, and it reminded me that I still have one of these things.  It seems that a few things have changed, so I have some questions to get up to speed. 1. It looks like the new Synthiam isnt a brand change, but an addition to the business or...

[?] The Ezbv4 Can Have Any Ip Address You Want, As Long As Its 192.168.1.1

Im trying to get my laptop to connect to an EZBv4 and my regular wifi at the same time. Which I can actually do, since I am using a USB - WiFi adapter. However, my network is also in the 192.168.1/24 range. I thought I would just connect to the EZBv4 and change its IP scheme/address and all would be fine. Nope. No options to. After poking around...

The EZ-B v4 can control 24 servos simultaneously while it performs other various user specified tasks. If your servos draw more current then our specification sheet defines, the EZ-B may run out of power and reboot...

Questions About The Ez-B V4 Board Specs - Servos, Processors

I am looking at the published specs here: https://synthiam.com/Shop/AccessoriesDetails.aspx?prevCat=9productNumber=40 Servos Voltage The servo compatibility is listed as 5V tolerant, but dont most servos run best at 6 - 7.2 volts? It was my understanding that 5V is under powering servos, if not almost so. Amperage Can the EZ-Bv4 handle the amperage...

Does The Android App Handle The Heavy Lifting? Or Do You Still Need A Pc Involve

Edited for clarity spelling/grammar. I have not yet bought an EZb, but as soon as I can, I plan to. Im not clear how things work if the Android app gets involved. If I program a bot and want to make use of the Android app, does the Android device do the remote processing, aka the thinking? Or does it only act as a dumb controller? Put another way;...
