@DJ Sorry, but I think this is my first actual complaint eek (bug reports don't count)
After working on a mechanical gripper mod and fiddling with servo settings, I have to say that the new servo controls (horizontal & vertical) are much harder to work with... perhaps it works great on a touch screen, but not with a mouse at least not as quick and sure for my servo position choice.
Might I suggest a few user "switchable" options? 1) A linear lever like the original, 2) A rotary nob - more for asthetics & 3) what you currently have for what appears to be a perfect touch screen control. You could also make each one "switchable" for Horizontal and Vertical layout... Do the same for PWM and you have one control to rule them all
Meanwhile, yes I could, and probably will, make up a script so I can quickly use a switch or joystick to adjust servos (as I don't have a servo tester yet)... but there goes some of the EZ in EZ-Robot (in my view)
And again... Thanks for all your efforts!
I get " a network error has occurred..." every time that I try to launch the update
@Troop191Robotics Are you downloading directly from the EZ-Robot.com page or going though ARC? If the latter then I recommend the webpage option.
I have to agree with Gunner that the new horizontal and verical servo control for me is a bit harder to use.
@DJ, I can't keep up with you updates! Thank You..
Thanks Gunner,
Yes, I have tired every way that I can think of. I have disabled all security, firewalls, removed all dongles, shut down all other programs, restarted the computer ... Another new feature is every time that I try to download or reply to the forum, I get a full page pop up add. And the wireless camera just died. Oh well ...
@Troop it sounds like you have a virus
