New Roomba R2d2 Hybrid

Hello All,

I am new here Seb from New York.

Thanks to DJ for nice Kit! I looked for something simple like ez-b for a while.

My project is a Voice controlled roomba/R2D2 Project. So far I used most parts that came with the kit. since I will use roomba as the platform I removed all wheels from R2 and converted side legs into arms using servos provided. I installed 3 switches on the side of R2 to control roomba without the computer. I just finished installing camera and ping sensor in the dome of the R2. I ordered from DJ 2 servo Arm With Rotating Wrist should be here any day. So far spent 3 night on it. It drives around raises hands and makes R2 Sounds nothing too crazy so far. Roomba responds to voice commands just like on the videos from DJ

I should be done with All other mods this weekend so I try posting the video. Next week I will start programming it so it becomes a machine that interacts with kids and adults, cleans the house, plays music and recharges itself without human interaction.
