UV Air sterilization and Surface Disinfection robot. I already have the plain version working, a sort of " dumb" air sanitizer, but that is all it does, Next is to make it better This is a early model to test out the body of everything. The general idea is to have a smart machine that can do a few things. First a stationary smart version is in order, heres the goals:
- RGB color and brightness customization and control
- Attract and Trap pests like flies and mosquito
- Control a variety of aromas that can be injected into the air as it leaves the unit. Think of it like a customization Air freshener.
- Turn on OZONE or High Voltage IONIZATION on a timer from phone or tablet , otherwise the default is off
- 4 camera cameras hidden option ( because who doesnt like security and this is useful for a mobile robot)
- Motorized inner tube raises exposes bare Quartz UVC Germicidal Lamps and retracts and closes on a timer or schedule.
- Motion and light detector sensing when a human or animal is in the room both for safety and to trigger timer to clean the area. ( no motion and no light would trigger a timer to start cleaning)
Second is a mobile version that is a vacuum / mopper / and UV floor sanitizer as well.
For those who freak out about UVC exposure > In these pictures the light you see is NOT UVC light, it is the led light from a 120mm pc fan. UVC lights actually do not produce much visible light, certainly not enough to be this fantastic of a glow. The UV inside this is inside the center tube and a rather small 3.5 watt bulb. I am considering upping that to 10 watts, but it still would not lumeness like this.
As of right now, the singles are designed to be stacked. Now I need to figure out an opening mechanism, but it would only be functional on the single unit or the top on if they are stacked. I suppose I could make more holes or put them closer together so the light could shine from the sides but thats still on the drawing board.
