Its the TEXAS INSTRUMENTS EZ430-CHRONOS dev kit. If you do a search for that you might find a local supplier. I don't think the kit is very popular, so you may not find many retailers.

Well, if you look at the control in ARC it provides a servo control for X axis and Y axis both with multi port options. For JD you'd probably need use to the variables that the watch outputs and use them in a script to make JD walk.
