Max volts for the ezb is around 18v or so... So you're quite safe

Hey guys,

Incidentally, what is the largest (physical dimensions) battery that Rolli can take? I would like to replace the battery that's coming with Rolli with a larger one that gives me greater capacity.

Cheers,

Jay :D

Keep in mind that the servos need no more then 7.4 volts ... Or they will blow up

Hey DJ !

I was thinking more current capacity rather than increased voltage - was even considering a LIFE4 battery @ 6.6v as there are supposedly less issues when charging them. It was the max physical size I'm not sure on.

Cheers,

Jay

You would have to modify the shell to fit the battery. The website hasn't been updated yet - but the base of the robot is actually on the DAGU rover. We created our own that is much better and fits the batteries properly. We'll get some dimensions for you soon

Hi DJ thanks for the quick replies .... You're a star !

I would have checked the dimensions in solidworks with the STLs but as you mentioned the cloud hasn't been updated with the new designs yet. Is there any news on when that will happen? I know it was hoped to have been last week.

Take care,

Jay
