Looks like you may have a CR (constant rotation servo) instead of a regular 180 servo... Or It sounds like it is missing the splines that are in the leg bracket (highly unlikely though)... If it is a CR servo then that would be a moot point...

Take it out of the bracket to confirm this... if the output gear on the servo is not spinning at all when you drive it then it could be a regular servo with broken internal gears

It looks like the pot is out and the stop has been removed from the servo. Does this servo say 360 on the label? if not, it sounds like they got something mixed up at the factory. It also sounds like the gears are not meshing, or that something is broken in the servo.

Anyway, its not right.

@Richard R,

As always you are correct.

I took it out of the bracket ... the output gear on the servo is not spinning at all when I drove it.

then it could be a regular servo with broken internal gears. Sounds like it.

And is labeled ezrobot HD.

I opened up servo...

gear work fine but motor with gear runs like a CR (constant rotation servo).

I will use the contact page to get a replacement.

Sounds like the servo has a problem - you can try opening it and making sure the gears are aligned. I had one with a gear misaligned from shipping before. Otherwise, we can send you a replacement

Also, please read this tutorial to know how to follow the assembly instructions: Assembly Instruction Lesson

I recommend that Lesson because I can see from your video that the servos are on upside down. In the Assembly Instruction Lesson, there is a section where I explain to take notice of the orientation of servos from the 3d image to real life. Notice key markings that give you an idea of which way they install.

The servos you have are installed upside down:)

PS, thank you for the video - that is really helpful!

@DJ Sures,

I did not notice. That they are upside down. Just finished testing all is working. Will check Assembly Instruction Lesson again... thanks dj for noticing will do above and change.

TOOK servo apart. gears okay, gears work fine. but motor with gear runs like a CR (constant rotation servo).

I will use the contact page to get a replacement.
