Neck Mechanism

Here is a cool neck mechanism. It is very expensive so it would be neat to see if I could fabricate it cheaper by getting parts from ServoCity.

CES-NECK

Edit: I priced similar parts from ServoCity. Without the servos and the top plate above the universal joint it comes to approx. $107.00. I am now trying to figure out what servos would be needed. I can make the top plate.

That sure is expensive!

2800$ for the "industrial" 3 servo model..holy molely....The servos shown seem to have the heatsink bodys Josh spoke about in a recent post. I would feel fairly confident in reproducing it for less then 107$ Theres always the super cheap "pan and tilt" brackets.....
