Joystick Control

So I have built a small tracked robot running off a h-bridge and am running two DC motors to drive it. I started of with the h-bridge Movement Panel and it worked fine, I then got a wired controller to run it and the robot will move around correctly using the left joystick( using the default setting). My problem is I want to use the second joystick to control the vertical position of my camera which is mounted on a servo, but I cant seem to get it to work. I have configured it to use the appropriate port, D1, that my servo is hooked up to but no go.... any suggestions? Also I cant seem to use the d-pad, it doesn't seem to recognized them.

Some joysticks do not support the dpad and analog to work at the same time. There is a button on the joystick which selects between the two.

As fror the second analog stick on your joystick, if it's enabled, it will work:) Simply select the ports.

Do you have two analog sticks on your joystick?

Yea I had a ps controller like that, this one however is not. I have all the settings on the 2nd analog stick enabled correctly but i just discovered that instead of the right joystick controlling the up and down movement its the right and left triggers. And it wont even recognize the d pad in the config setup ...... yea im stumped
