Ezrobot V3 Stays On After You Unplug It From The Power

Any thoughts on that? It seems it is getting power from some of the DATA lines maybe. Tell me what YOU think.

Thanks! Mel

I think it is a case for Mulder and Scully and the X-files....

I don't even want to know what you have your ezb plugged into....

@Mel I am really sorry you struggle with this stuff so much.... I really do...

Sounds like power is being put back into the +5 lines of the ezb v3. Stick your volt meter on the +5 and gnd of any ezb v3 digital and analog port to see what's up.

I suspect it's analog port because the digital port uses a separate regulator. The analog port shares the regulator with the pic micro

"There's something Strange, with your ezbv3, whoo you gonna call?"
Seriously, who Ya gonna call? Are near by where a civil war hospital was or sasquatches?

I assume it's "on" because the power light is on? Does it stay on with everything unplugged? If so do you live in Nikola Tesla's old house? Because you might have stumbled onto something BIG!

If it is off with nothing at all connected then I would think one of your devices is pushing power back into the ezbv3 which likely not good. The next step would be see what is getting power still and feeding it back in.
