I wanted to know how I can connect a brushless motor to the EZ-Robot. I also wanted to know if the EZ-robot has support for the Dynamixel servos.
Hi you can use brushless motors. you need to buy a brushles esc motor controllet and the ezb can control it through the servo movement panel. ezb can use all rc servos regardless of brand. For besr performance and support try using somthing that has already been used in robots on the forum. rc servos aee great tools. For very high strength but still gave the function of a servo robotzone has servo gear boxes.
Thanks
Sorry about typos. I am waiting on a replacement phone lol
Kurt,
Please keep us posted on what you find here. I've been looking into this same thing and eventually will create a 30 MPH autonomous robot. But for now even my .5 mph autonomous tank occasionally engages in self mutilating behaviors. I learned that lesson from trashing my AR Drone and then moved to the tank chassis with the 6 axis arm to work out my remaining control theory kinks.
Thanks
Castle creations. turnigy and jeti advance make great high end brushless motor controllers and axi gold makes great high power motors. since ezb can control rc based equipment that is doable.
I have been working on a flying robot shell that will host the EZ-Mini - it uses a brushless motor controller... Well 4 actually. Any brushless motor controller will work with the EZ-B.
