Any Thoughts On Getting Arc To Run On Tonypi

Tonypi is an inexpensive robot, and it will run on raspberry pi.

From that I can tell that the audio and video would work.

I wouldn't think it would take much to get the servos connected.

@mrmateomatt, It sounds like Athena is saying it's pertty easy. I'm not sure what version of the Raspberry Pi is runs the Tonypi but if it's not a version 3 or 4 maybe you can swap it out and install the ARC Firmware. Then you can run ARC. Please keep us posted on how your progress.

I did a quick hack of a tonypi but I didn't have Pi or controller so I used an EZB. I just purchased a broken tonypi frame and servos on eBay.  I never actually finished the walking gate though.  The EZ-Robot camera fitted in the head nicely.

Anyone build or planning on building a robot based on Tonypi by hiwonder.  The hardware has video, audio, and alot of control over many servos?

ARC will run on Pi get 8GB model, Lewan soul servos work the only unknown is the camera and servo controller board.  As I mentioned above I used an EZB as controller in mine and an  ez-robot camera.

As a heads up.  I was able to get  EZBpi.exe running on the raspberry pi. I was able to get the ARC communicating to the servos. Here is a link to where i posted. https://synthiam.com/Community/General/TonyPi-Working-Fun-robot-to-incorporate-with-Arc-21729

I am running into an issue where i am having trouble reading from the servos.  That being said, i can send commands to the sevos, so I feel like i am 85% there. My next order of business would be to get the webcam communicating.  I am thinking it should be possible.  It might require tinkering with the Blueberry server to get the right video commands working.   The last issue will be getting the head servo working.  That servo communicates a different way.
