That's right, the EZ-B now has TellyMate support. The TellyMate board is an add-on you may purchase from most online electronic hobby supply shops. The tutorial provides a direct link to purchase from HVW Tech.
The TellyMate will interface the EZ-B with your Television. You will be able to output ascii text directly to the TV screen. This will come in handy for robots that will sport larger LCD TV's. Get a LCD from a cheap portable DVD player and attach it to your robot with the TellyMate and EZ-B. Sweet!

@jstarne1 - Did you ever get a TellyMate? The TellyMate looks simple to get up and running compared to a serial 2x16 LCD module.
You just connect it to any TV or LCD-screen that supports RCA-style jacks for video signal, right?
And the other end to any EZ-B digital serial port to send serial commands?
Anyone else have any experience to share using a TellyMate with EZ-B? Love to hear about it. Thanks!
