It seems to me that all humanoids priced within my budget are very slow at getting around. I would like to build a humanoid robot that will use a Roomba as transport to move himself around faster. The humanoid would be able to hop on the Roomba after calling it to his proximity and direct the Roomba (voice recognition and other means) to do various task or simply travel to specified locations. The increase in travel speed would be useful for various tasks and there would be numerous other benefits in having the two robots working together. The humanoid could simply attach itself to the Roomba in some fashion if getting itself completely on board is too complicated, but I think that would not be as much of challenge. Island fox
