I'm an software engineer. I don't have any robotics building experience but I want to get my 7 year old son start early on robotics. I'm evaluating EZ-Robot and Lego Mindstorms. I have two questions.
#1 What's major advantage of EZ-Robot over Lego kit from 7 yr old educational purpose prospective?
#2 If I choose EZ-Robot (your stuff is super cool, I watched a lot of your video clips), what kit should I start with? I lean toward the idea of DIY kit but not sure if it's too much for 7 year old (programming), or maybe a JD kit is a safe bet?
