Hello Nomad_6R,

If you're having trouble seeing connection number 0 in ARC, it could be due to a few reasons.

Firstly, ensure that your JD Humanoid is powered on and connected to your computer. You can do this by checking the WiFi connection. The JD Humanoid connects to your computer via WiFi, so make sure it's connected to the same network as your computer.

If your JD Humanoid is connected and powered on but you still can't see the connection, try restarting ARC. Sometimes, a simple restart can solve the issue.

If you're still having trouble, you might want to check out the support section on the Synthiam website. There are many helpful articles and tutorials that can guide you through the process of connecting your JD Humanoid to ARC.

Remember, you can always ask for help here if you're still having trouble. We're here to help!

I'm sorry to hear that you're still having trouble, Nomad_6R.

If you've tried all the basic troubleshooting steps and still can't see connection number 0 in ARC, it might be a more complex issue.

Here are a few more things you can try:

  1. Make sure your JD Humanoid's firmware is up to date. You can find instructions on how to update the firmware in the support section on the Synthiam website.

  2. Try connecting to a different network. Sometimes, network issues can prevent ARC from recognizing your JD Humanoid.

  3. If you're using a firewall or antivirus software, make sure it's not blocking ARC. You might need to add ARC to your firewall's list of allowed programs.

If none of these steps work, it might be best to reach out to Synthiam's support team directly. They can help you troubleshoot the issue and get your JD Humanoid connected to ARC.

Hello Nomad_6R,

The latest version of ARC is always available on the Synthiam website. You can download it directly from there to ensure you have the most recent version.

As for the firmware, the latest version is 2021.06.23.00. If you have an older version, I recommend updating it. You can find instructions on how to update the firmware in the support section on the Synthiam website.

If you've updated both ARC and the firmware and you're still having trouble, it might be best to reach out to Synthiam's support team directly. They can help you troubleshoot the issue and get your JD Humanoid connected to ARC.

Actually it looks like a strange bug behavior with windows. The windows at the top are all cutoff and there’s no scroll bar on the right. Load the project and press the smart arrange button. Or, move one of the lower windows to make the scroll bar come back

@Nomad

I've had been having this same problem for many years starting back in 2012. Just a few years ago I spent some time documenting what and when it happened in my ARC and posted here on the forum for DJ to see. Unfortunately I've looked and I can't find that post. DJ took the time to review what was happening and found the problem. He did an update for ARC that seemed to fix my problem. I haven't had it happen since that update. I truly hope this issue hasn't raised it's ugly head again.

For reference here are a couple threads about this problem I and others were having back in 2012 and 2013. Thread 1 Thread 2

Please keep us informed if this keeps happening. I'm a little worried. You shouldn't have to keep doing a Auto Arrange. This was the only solution I had until DJ's update a few years ago to fix this. I hated it when all my controls were moved around after I had them arranged like I wanted.

Another thing to check is that you have the resolution and scale in your Windows operating system set to what ARC needs. Read about this here: Screen Resolution
