The Ez-Ai Forum Is Now Up Come And Join The Discussions

David's EZ-AI forum is up and running and anyone that is interested in an AI that integrates with ARC should go over and take a look. Also there are opportunities to suggest new features and development ideas which is very neat. Please visit and join the discussions!

You can register to join the forum at cochranrobotics.com

EZ-Robot coupled with EZ-AI is in my humble opinion the way to go if you want to build an advanced robot that does useful stuff.

Upgrade to ARC Pro

Stay at the forefront of robot programming innovation with ARC Pro, ensuring your robot is always equipped with the latest advancements.

I agree Tony.... I am in the process of setting it up and wrapping my head around the whole thing... LOL :D

Richard R, it would be great to see you over there at the forum - I think there is an exciting future for the EZ-AI and the perfect fit with ARC is the icing on the cake!

EZ-Robot employees are more than welcome to join my forum at cochranrobotics.com. There are and will be conversations on what people want from an AI in their robots. These might be good conversations for you to be a part of or see because it could give you ideas on improvements to ARC also.

Just sending out an offer that might help in some area.

@Everyone, if you haven't checked out David's AI you really should take the time to head over to his website and have a serious look at it.... It is a bit to install and has a fair bit of a learning curve, but it is well worth it!.... If I can do it, you can do it.... What David has done here is fantastic hands down so join the forum!... :)

Glad your up and working Richard R. Also, Merne got his UPC code reader piece working great. I hope he will share his .robo file for others to use. We spent some time getting it to work really well. This piece of the app is really cool and worth checking out by itself.

All are welcome, even non-EZ-Robot users. The application is becoming robot software agnostic soon, so cochranrobotics.com will be a good place to see what others (outside of EZ-Robot) are using EZ-AI for too. Also, if you would like other things added to EZ-AI, there is a place to request new features on the forum.

...Anyone having trouble connecting to the site?

Hey will. I just verified I could hit it. Its that dang new internet provider :)

I get a secure connection failed message, must be that pesky Avast! agin :(

i just clicked in link, it was https, dropped the s, works great, thanks

The EZ-AI community has just passed 50 registered users. It is a milestone :)

Great news David!

Right now it really adds functionality to ARC though the use of databases and also incorporates a lot of Internet of Things (IoT) technology to gather information for web sources. It also incorporates an ALICE chatbot which is the same base as PandoraBot, but runs locally on your network to eliminate latency that is experienced with PandoraBot.

Reminders Recognize users and do different things for different age groups of users RSS cleaner and phonetic pronunciation dictionary UPC code lookup wikipedia search on topics remembers special dates for all users or specific users Speaks a series of things (rhymes for example) without repeating until all of them have been said. Ability to play different MP3 files through ARC based on the age of the user without repeating until all of these MP3s have been played. Driving directions from city to city on your continent or to addresses you have entered into EZ-AI GPS navigation via googles walking directions Ability to post emergency requests for help to Facebook Star Wars trivia game that you can add more questions to (could be used for any multiple choice game) Food recipes through BigOven Movie information Song information TV show information knowledge gathering system through the internet Bible verse query system Email retrieval and reading tool for GMail, Yahoo, Live and MSN email addresses Ability to store data in the database which then allows for an unlimited number of things but to name a few... Ability for multiple robots on your network to communicate Ability to know that tasks have been performed and then not repeat those tasks by one or more robots Ability to know a family tree relationship so that when the robot recognizes a user, it will be able to know who that person's children, parents or grandparents are and use these names in conversation.

There is a lot there and the list will be growing. I am going to complete my InMoov and then go back to adding more features to EZ-AI. I will use my InMoov as the testbed for this development.

Hi.. impressive.

How do you pass values from EZ script to SQL?

Are you using ODBC when connecting?

You call EZ-AI.exe using the /D switch and the query as parameters. EZ-AI uses the ADO connections in .net to handle the connection to the database.
