I was thinking the same after my grandson told me he wanted to build a crab robot, I thought the hexapod rev robot would work. It would be nice to purchase everything and help my 7 year old grandson build his first robot? He has so much interest in robots after demonstrating my EZ Robot.

The prototyping, tooling, and manufacting process's are quite time consuming. We are working hard to make the exciting EZ-Bits available for purchase on our site but still don't have a solidified timeframe for when it will happen. As we get closer to the date and have more information our community will surely be the first to know!

@feroze We are printing off a few more parts for JD as well as getting Dennis set up properly to video/ edit new footage. There will be lots of exciting new videos coming over the next while including tutorials for EZ-Bits, JD, Six, and more! Stay tuned :)
Awesome I can't wait. Once I see the EZ-Bits tutorial and JD in action I will be ready to buy equipment for my platform. I am thinking of going with JD as a bi-pedal platform. And JD will have his own "vehicle" or pet robot that he rides on (which will be an iRobot Roomba or Create) when he wants to get around faster than walking.
Will you be including a Movement Panel for JD so he can walk? Right now it is not showing up in the example.

Any word on when there might be some tutorial videos for EZ-Bits and one showing JD the robot? The hexapod gets all the attention JD must feel sad.
