At the moment, ARC’s default servo (or movement) control interfaces don’t include a dedicated centerline setting in the configuration dialog-only the minimum and maximum limits are available. However, you have a couple of options:

1. Scripted Centering:
   You can easily command your servo to move to a centerline position (like 90) via ARC scripting. For example, in a JavaScript or Python script you could use:

   // Moves the servo on port D14 to the center position (90 degrees)
   Servo.setPosition(D14, 90);
   

2. Creating a Custom Robot Skill:
   If you’d like an additional UI setting (similar to a slider or an input field) dedicated to the centerline value, you can create a custom robot skill that includes this option. ARC’s framework supports adding properties to a skill which then appear in the configuration panel. As Athena mentioned, no widget with a scroll displays a center line. This is because Microsoft Windows does not contain a widget with that functionality. Microsoft created the scrollbar widget, which is used across all Microsoft Windows software. Synthiam does not make the graphical elements within the application, as they are standard across all Microsoft Windows applications.

As Athena mentioned, having a script button that sets the servo position to its center is a fantastic solution. Hope that helps!

Hey Nomad, are you wanting a feature that would automatically center the user interface slider or a visual aid marker? You got some good answers if you want an automatic way to do it.

However a visual marker showing center of the slider so you can manually drag the slider is possible. I was able to do this by installing an Image button and choosing the downward pointing arrow for both the idle and running states of the button. Note that the script edit section is left empty. Then I positioned the downward pointing arrow in the center of the slider. Adjust position as needed.

I guess you could make this image button an automatic centering button by placing your centering script in the image button script section. If no script is in there then it stays just a image of a center arrow.
