Omnibot 5402 Head Movement

Hey guys. Ive been slowly working on one of these and I have come to a bit of a stand still. Im looking for the best way to get his head to move left and right without being to complex. So far ive seen maybe 3 different ways it was done. The only problem is 2 are only seen briefly in DJs omnibot v2 and v3 videos. While the 3rd is just more worl than I would like to atm. Has anyone else here done this and mind sharing there notes or pics/videos? This has been driving me crazy

Not with the 5402 it isn't since it can't tilt too easily. Pan only is the way to go.

There are plenty of 5402 examples in the project showcase which have photos showing this part. The simplest is to put a strip across the hole where the head sits and have a single servo in that strip which attaches to the head.

@ Anthony-XLRobots.com Thanks but that advice applies more towards my other build lol

@Rich Thanks, I actually feel silly. I found what I was looking for in the showcase and couldn't mark this thread as resolved. I think im going to try what Lumpy did here synthiam.com/Community/Questions/1352
