I purchased the EZ-B v4 Developer Kit a few months ago and realized that I would need additional power supplies. I went to EZ-Robot store and found the LiPo Battery (http://www.ez-robot.com/Shop/AccessoriesDetails.aspx?prevCat=103&productNumber=41) and the charger (http://www.ez-robot.com/Shop/AccessoriesDetails.aspx?prevProductId=41&productNumber=42).
I ordered two batteries and the charger.
Upon receiving the batteries I discovered that they do not hook up to the EZ-B v4. It appears that I will need some sort of adapter. This was very disappointing because nowhere in the description was this stated.
Additionally, I looked for videos and topics for this for several hours before coming across something that shows how to make the connector in this thread - http://www.ez-robot.com/Community/Forum/Thread?threadId=7053 .
My question is this what kind of connectors should I use? I cannot find one that is a barrel connector and I want to make sure I make it correctly.
Is it possible to use a Deans Charging adapter T Male Plug to Female Tamiya Head and then another adapter? I want to do this as safely and inexpensively as possible as it has already cost me $60 for the batteries and charger.
Great customer service you say? Why, doesn't every company reply to customer inquires from here...
